I graduated from Atlanta School of Massage in 1990 and began part time practice. During the first several years after graduation, I spent many weekends taking advanced training in bodywork and massage. I became certified in Neuromuscular therapy, Pregnancy massage, and TMJ therapy. Other advanced techniques I provide are craniosacral therapy (level 1 & 2), trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.
In 2005, I received an Associate's Degree from Ohio College of Massotherapy. I am currently licensed in Massage Therapy with Georgia License #MT000001. I am Board Certified in massage therapy and bodywork and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association for 29 years. An active volunteer of the AMTA Georgia Chapter since 2000, I currently serve on the AMTA National Board as Director.
My practice has evolved over the last many years and I continue to stay current with the latest education in massage therapy and bodywork to provide the best work possible for my clients.
In addition to my massage therapy education, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a concentration in Medical Sociology in 2013.
I enjoy my family, learning, tracing geneology, quilting, and traveling. My family enjoys deep sea fishing together. My husband, Dr. Douglas Johnson, and I have one son, Wade.
