I graduated from Atlanta School of Massage in 1990 and began part time practice. During the first several years after graduation, I spent many weekends taking advanced training in bodywork and massage. I became certified in Neuromuscular therapy, Pregnancy and Infant massage, and TMJ therapy. Other advanced techniques I provide are craniosacral therapy (level 1 & 2), trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. In 2005, I received an Associate's Degree from Ohio College of Massotherapy. I am currently licensed in Massage Therapy is Georgia and Florida. I am Board Certified through the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork and am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and an active member of the AMTA Georgia Chapter for 26 years.
My practice has evolved over the last many years and I continue to stay current with the latest education in massage therapy and bodywork to provide the best work possible for my clients. My clients range from infants to elders who bring to the massage table many challenges for me to help them feel better and have a more productive life.
In addition to my Massage Therapy education, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a concentration in Medical Sociology in 2013.
I enjoy my family, learning, tracing geneology, crocheting blankets and traveling. My family enjoys deep sea fishing together. I live with my husband, Dr. Douglas Johnson and we have one son, Wade.
